Overture works quietly in the background, and the Overture app puts your whole system in your hand. See an overview of your entire home's air quality, then drill into any room with an Overture Room Sensor. Live IAQ readings update for each room and for the whole home, so you always have a current snapshot. Tune the system to your comfort level whenever you want.

Outdoor Air Quality Logic

Overture brings fresh air into your home, but only when the outdoor air is worth bringing in. Outside air is not always cleaner than the air inside. To make that call, Overture pulls the EPA Air Quality Index (AQI) for your zip code and combines it with the live readings from your Room Sensors. Every 1 hour, Overture takes in updated outdoor pollutant data and decides whether the bath fan, range hood, or fresh-air system should run.

The Overture app gives you a live report on your home's indoor air quality. From the home screen, see your whole-home readings and every Overture-equipped room at once, plus historical trends. Clear indicators show your current IAQ, and a simple menu lets you tune the system to your home.

Room by Room Snapshots

Open any Overture-equipped room for a detailed snapshot of that room's air. Individual gauges show CO2, PM2.5 (fine particles), TVOC, humidity, and temperature, all live. Long-press any gauge for a quick explanation of what that reading means and how it has trended over time. For rooms with a Room Sensor, the room view also controls the Smart Plug, so you can switch the connected device on or off right from the app.

Historical Data

Track how each room and your whole home trend over time. Choose a 1-hour, 1-day, 1-week, 1-month, or 1-year view, and pinch to zoom to change the scale on the fly. Every chart plots your actual measured values against the yellow-threshold and red-threshold lines, so you can see at a glance when a reading crosses into caution or alert territory.

Overture works with your favorite smart assistant. Set up the Overture skill and just ask about your home's air quality. You can even trigger ventilation by voice: "Hey smart home, turn on the range hood." Overture's action layer goes beyond fans: it can also automate filtration and dehumidification, so the right response runs when your air needs it.
