How Overture Works

Overture is the Automated IAQ System. It monitors your indoor air quality and then automates an action to fix it, so you do not have to. Here is the chain, end to end:

The Room Sensor reads the air in each space: CO2, PM2.5, TVOC, humidity, and temperature.
Those readings stream to the Overture cloud and show up in the Overture app, room by room, in plain color-coded status.
When a reading crosses your threshold, Overture signals a Smart Plug or a Wall Control.
The Smart Plug or Wall Control takes the action automatically: turn on a bath fan, push an ERV to boost mode, turn on a range hood, run a dehumidifier, open make-up air, or run the forced-air blower to circulate and filter the air.

No other IAQ sensor on the market closes that loop. Overture does not just tell you the air is bad. It does something about it.

The Highest-Grade Sensors Available

Overture uses the highest-grade air-quality sensors available. The Room Sensor tracks CO2, PM2.5, TVOC, humidity, and temperature in every space, so the action Overture takes is driven by real measurements, not guesswork.

Catch Moisture Problems Before They Cost You

Moisture is what feeds mold, and mold can take hold in 24 to 48 hours on a cold, damp surface. Overture™ tracks humidity and dew point in real time and can automatically run a dehumidifier or boost ventilation when conditions head the wrong way. You get an early signal and an automatic response, before a moisture problem becomes a repair bill.

Setup Is Simple

Step 1

Place an Overture Room Sensor in each space you want to watch. It needs a standard electrical outlet and a Wi-Fi connection. That is the whole install.

Step 2

Open the Overture app. Your readings appear room by room, in real time. (The app covers roughly 1 to 10 locations; for 50 to 500 locations, use the web-based interface instead.)

Step 3

Overture™ shows each room in plain color-coded status across CO2, PM2.5, TVOC, humidity, and temperature, so you see at a glance where the air needs attention.

Step 4

Add a Smart Plug or a Wall Control and Overture automates the response: bath fan, ERV boost, range hood, dehumidifier, make-up air, or the forced-air blower. Set it once and Overture takes the action for you.
